Accommodation

Apply early to secure your spot in your preferred accommodations! All students must arrange housing prior to arrival. Once you are in Boston, housing options become limited.

On-campus Housing

This is the recommended option for first-year, undergraduate UMass Boston GSSP students. UMass Boston’s 260,000-square-foot on-campus residence hall provides beds for first-year domestic and international students. The state-of-the-art building includes fully furnished double and triple rooms, laundry facilities, a community kitchen, study areas and a dining hall.

You will live right on the UMass Boston campus with easy access to faculty and staff. You can be readily involved in academic and extracurricular activities and build life-long friendships with your fellow students. Plus, the residence hall’s close proximity to the JFK/UMass subway stop means you can easily explore the rest of Boston.

Housing is not guaranteed for all first year students and there are a limited number of rooms available. Housing is from September-May. In order for your application to be reviewed a deposit of US$300 needs to be paid. For more information and to apply, please email studentsuccess@umbgssp.com.
